Diva is for sale

Our Mission at Oak Hill Farms is to provide and promote the beauty and versatility of the Appaloosa Horse. We strive to provide horses that not only "get the job done" but can also be considered as part of the family network. A horse with Color, Conformation and Compatability.

Diva or "Likely a Legend" is a classic appaloosa. She is very versatile, intelligent and loves her people. As you can see you do not have to chase this mare down, she will come running when you call. She has raised some very nice foals in the past and everyone has color. We no longer are breeding horses and that is why she is for sale. She is registered in the ApHC and is eligible for the foundation registries and spotted horse registries, as well as the colorado ranger horse association. She was ridden as a 3 year old and is presently back to the trainers for 30 days of training. She is a loud Chestnut near leopard appaloosa with lightning marks and halo spots. Check out her pedigree on allpedigree.com

Jag is our primary Appaloosa stallion. He has produced many nice foals for us and our customers. We have roans, blankets, near leopards and many SNOCAP foals to show for his work. He has also produced colors such as black, chestnut, sorrel, bay and DUN! He has the great MAID'S DREAM as his sire as well as the Hall of Fame Stallion DREAMFINDER as his grand-sire as well as MR RE as his grand-sire on the bottom side. His Dam's pedigree is powerful as well. Check out his pedigree at the website provided here. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hez+maid+to+glo

Behind the Scenes of My Home Page

Oak Hill Farms is located between Joy and New Boston on the western edge of Illinois. Our farm is owned by my husband Brad and myself Julie Weeks. We have a daughter, Amanda, and a son, Chad, who is the father of our 4 year old grand-daughter, Savannah. We are a close family with everyone pitching in to help when needed. Savannah actually LIKES to help with the chores!

All creatures great and small...the Lord God made them all.
